Andrew walked our Boston Terrier bulldog Rae for almost a year. I’ve never had a dog walker be so attentive, caring and communicative before. Andrew treated Rae like one of his own. Rae has a variety of triggers outside and can be aggressive and reactive, which always made me nervous when she got a new walker. Andrew made me feel so at ease. I always knew he would protect her and also worked with her on her “craziness”. Andrew had to end our relationship because he was moving to the other end of the city, and I was very sad to hear the news. I could not recommend him enough; he was so wonderful to work with and I would work with him again in a heartbeat.

Andrew cared for our two large sheepdogs for over a year and even though they are a lot to handle, we never worried about them when they were with him! He always ensured they were fed and exercised and he took care to point out anything out of the ordinary that needed to be brought to our attention. We received daily updates during his visits that always brightened our day. We would not hesitate to recommend Andrew for any pet care!

Three words describe Andrew...reliable, trustworthy and kind. During the time he walked our bernedoodle, Maggie, Andrew was always reliable and arrived when expected. He provided updates on his visits including smiling photos of Maggie. We trusted him with access to our home and the care of our puppy. Neighbours reported back to us frequently on how he cared for Maggie and worked regularly on basic obedience training techniques. We were sorry to lose him to another part of the city. He was a great asset to Happy Tails.

Andrew is the best sitter that I’ve ever had to care for my two cats. Whether for a weekend or extended holidays I always requested Andrew for my pets. Every cat visit was accompanied by an email complete with pictures and a running commentary on the state of Ava and Layla. Giving Layla her medication, due to her allergies, is always an unpleasant task but Andrew never minds tackling the task. I highly recommend Andrew and wish him all the best in the future.

Andrew offered expert on and off leash training when taking Casper out for walks. As our dog is reactive to other dogs, in just a few weeks of Andrew walking Casper, we definitely noticed an improvement with his behavior around other dogs. Andrew consistently demonstrated how much he cares for the dogs he is looking after and having him available to walk Casper has helped us so much.
